Due to the sad demise of my computer it has been a long time between posts here! I am still working on that problem but have managed to procure a temporary measure for now! Belated HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all you lovely readers! Here is one of my latest works-'LIGHT AS A BUTTERFLY'. This painting is mixed media and is the latest in my Autumn 2008 series to be made available for sale in my store HERE . It is created on 12"x 12" x 1.5" block gallery wrapped canvas (staple free sides) using acrylics,graphite,ink and oil pastel. Lightly glazed with a semi gloss professional artists varnish to protect and seal,the sides are fully painted so this piece is ready to hang without the need for a frame ( or of course can still be framed should you choose to do so!) A very charming and peacefully elegant work,layered with lovely atmospheric shades-this would make a beautiful addition to your art collection! Signed and dated on the reverse.

Ok,so it's not an art update today-my daughter bought chilled smoothies at the local supermarket where they are promoting a particular brand by topping each bottle off with the coolest miniature pompom hats-and how cute does he look with a little knitted hat on each ear? Enjoy-I had to share these-he didn't even mind and posed for some time quite happily, much to our amusement :)
