This is a privately commissioned work posted for the person who placed the order and is not available for sale! Box measures (approx) 10cm sq and is jampacked with goodies-yarns,embroidery,beads,some stunning vintage flower beads and sequins. Created using a warm metallic caramel fabric,luxuriously padded and sumptuously lined with peach dupion silk. Embellished with a hand made chiffon and bead flower Beautiful! I do hope the lady that ordered this one is pleased with it!

This is a sample of some new works which I am currently preparing for exhibition at the end of April. They are large mixed media pieces on block canvas, created using hand-transferred images from some of my other original works. Each one is unique,so although an image may be used again on a different piece it will remain entirely original. I love the crisp apple greens in this one!

New ACEO design currently for sale in my EBAY STORE What are ACEOs???? ACEO is the acronym for "Art Cards Editions and Originals". An ACEO is a small piece of art that can be defined by it's convenient 2.5 x 3.5 inch size. (Standard trading card size) ACEOs are VERY different from trading cards however, because they are CREATED and traded or sold by artists. All my ACEOs are absolute ORIGINAL pieces of art! (Some artists choose to sell prints of their work -'editions' ) ACEOs are created in any medium available in the art world. Artists are creating them in ALL kinds of styles and varieties. There are no rules limiting the artist, outside of the size dimensions. ACEOs can be framed, propped, used as bookmarks,grouped together in larger frames......use YOUR imagination! Trading Card notebooks, sleeves and holders can all be used to display them. Original mixed media painting on wooden panel. I am delighted to bring you this rich and interesting painting. This work full of depth and rich in texture and incorporates layers of inks,oil pastel,glazes,acrylics and collaged elements on wooden panel which measures (approx) 8.5" x 16" (22cm x 40cm). The panel is about 1/4"(.5cm) thick.It has been lightly glazed with a semigloss finish to seal and protect. This work is entitled 'Gipsy Crown' and is being offered for sale without a frame as it would look equally well displayed on a stand (see photo-my stand NOT included!) or could be framed if preferred so I will leave that choice to the buyer!
