Here they are at last! The first photos of my new studio workshop-it's been a long week getting the place ready, but it has been worth it,I'm now at the really fun stage of adding colour-it all still looks a little sparse, but will soon be jampacked with art goodies and creations for sale!The first pic is of the beach-Trevaunance Cove literally 100 yards away and very beautiful,typically Cornish,rocky,sandy and wild! The colours on Saturday when I took these were particularly intense, but it is a truly gorgeous beach all year round!

A distinct lack of posts this week again I know-but with good reason,as every spare second has been spent prepping and organising my new studio/workshop.PHEW!!am exhausted- But worth it!! I am taking the camera with me tomorrow, as I have made such fantastic headway this week I am JUST ABOUT up and running now ( still lots to do but as with most things this will definitely be a continual work in progress!) I will post some shots just to prove how hard I have been working on it all very soon!

Currently for sale in my etsy store CLICK HERE to visit! What are ACEOs???? ACEO is the acronym for "Art Cards Editions and Originals". An ACEO is a small piece of art that can be defined by it's convenient 2.5 x 3.5 inch size. (Standard trading card size) ACEOs are VERY different from trading cards however, because they are CREATED and traded or sold by artists. All my ACEOs are absolute ORIGINAL pieces of art! (Some artists choose to sell prints of their work -'editions' ) ACEOs are created in any medium available in the art world. Artists are creating them in ALL kinds of styles and varieties. There are no rules limiting the artist, outside of the size dimensions. ACEOs can be framed, propped, used as bookmarks,grouped together in larger frames......use YOUR imagination! Trading Card notebooks, sleeves and holders can all be used to display them. WHY NOT BECOME A COLLECTOR YOUR SELF OR BEGIN A COLLECTION AS A SPECIAL GIFT FOR A FRIEND TODAY-THE VARIETIES ARE EN...

It's finally happening!! I will be working this week on the set up of my new studio at Trevaunance Cove Workshops in St Agnes, Cornwall. It's a wonderful setting just a hundred yards away from the beach and there are several other artists in residence too,making it a very interesting and fun place for a visit,meet the artists and maybe even treat your self to a piece of original art!! I have waited a long time for the opportunity to join these lovely workshops, so am delighted my efforts have finally paid off! Photos to follow soon-do drop in for a visit if you get the chance!

This lovely creature has real vintage bisque dolls arms,and one of my own hand made face cabs. She nestles amongst a warm array of fibres,paints,inks and collaged ephemera. Canvas measures 8" x 8" x 1.5" ( approx ) and she is currently for sale in my ebay store CLICK HERE to visit!

Yes,yes, I know, it's been a few days between posts again-although I have been busy preparing for another show (EVENTS SQUARE, Falmouth, if anyone is free to visit-5th and 6th July). I'm hoping that things will be returning to normal(ish) again this week and regular bloggin services will resume very shortly!
