Lovely scratchy, scribbly fineliner permanent ink pen for Christmas from my daughter....unforgiving to draw with at times, but very good for practice work and fast sketching I find :). This is the same drawing twice, but I tweaked it a little in my phone, just to see....

Did lots of sketchbooking yesterday.....just for personal fulfillment really,although a few of my rough drawings may well develop into further pieces now.

Happy Boxing Day! I am currently spoiled and replete today....but also filled with inspiration for many future exciting projects,and planning to use time at home the next few days to experiment and develop some of these ideas a little further...watch this space,there will be much and many in progress updates to follow!

It's been so dull and grey the last few days,very cold for Cornwall,even though we have had only ice,no snow(my car slid down the road on invisible ice on Tuesday-I beat a very hasty retreat,hadn't realised how bad our road was! )...what a joy to see a hint of sun for an hiur today...even the cat sat outside for more than 3 minutes....not MUCH longer,mind,the big fairy that he is :)

I have filled every pot and vase I can find with fresh holly,bay,fir and greenery, all from the garden-add a touch of sparkle and fairy lights and every corner of the house is filled with beautiful greenery and scents-gorgeous!

My final Christmas order was shipped today and will arrive in all it's glory special delivery for a very special lady tomorrow! These pics are just a few snippets of the photos that I have taken along the way-SO much work and care went in to all of these original pieces, what a delight to create they all were...and to know they are going to such a loving home is wonderful!

A few snapshots from Fowey Christmas Show last weekend-it's huge! Complete with Santa-what a fab time we had!

I have just a few days to catch my breath following a wonderfully successful weekend at the lovely Fowey Christmas Show before setting off to Falmouth for the Poly Christmas Bazaar. Really looking forward to it! If you didn't make the Fowey show or even if you did!) the Poly is well worth a visit-we will be there all week,open 10am-5pm each day in the Poly Gallery-come along and enjoy the fun-mince pies,teas,coffees and mulled wine served all day!

I am so proud to be exhibiting this weekend at Fowey Show once again. Now in it's 5th year, this is a highly prestigious show which is very well supported and attracts visitr's from all over the world. The whole of this gorgeously picturesque fishing town gets involved-carparks are free and there are shuttle buses from all of the venues running every 15 minutes if you don't fancy the stroll-although I have to say this is such a pretty place I love to stroll the old fashioned streets, expecially when all the shops and buildings are decorated for Christmas!. Carefully selected local artists (including yours truly) and craftsmen sell a huge range of handmade unique gift items along with Cornish food traders, Carol singers and thousands of visitors. If you are in Cornwall this weekend this show is NOT to be missed! Come along and say hi!
