Mixed Media Canvas


I can't wait to get back into the studio this weekend,I've been feeling quite itchy at my lack of creating this past few days-lovely as the Christmas break has been! There are lots of new ideas brewing so even though I may not have been creating as such my notebook has been near to hand at all times for the scribbling of ideas which might bubble to the surface in a quiet moment-I live in fear of a day when I get into the studio and go 'blank' as I might then have to tidy up and that would never do!
I am in the midst of a large canvas painting which I have been working on for some time. I have tried to be as diligent as possible and photographed it throughout the working process so I will get them into order and post a series of 'work in progress' style pics here soon-I hope it's of interest, I am always fascinated to see how other artists build a painting from a blank canvas myself!.

Work in Progress....

'Acceptance' is the working title for this piece....still in progress-I have been working on some other pieces also in the meantime, but did some work on this one out in the sunshine today and really got lost in the process...followed by a barbecue supper-just wonderful!
