'Nectarines and Plum Juice' is one of my most favourite mixed media creations to date!
I am so delighted to be sharing this piece with you here-it is also available for sale-link details to follow very shortly, but I was keen to get the photo collages up on my blog here first, I'm so very proud of it. I have a series of 'Dreamscape' mixed media fabric books planned for the next few weeks ( or possibly months if I find the inspiration to continue for longer!)
The book measures (approx) 4" x 6" and is made from fabric which has been primed and painted. The drawings have then been added using permanent ink and colour pigments. The words inside read 'nectarines and plum juice-elegant and unusual-when the birds join us-we will sing together!' and are accompanied by a flow of dream images. The book folds concertina style and ties neatly shut with a ribbon. the outer cover is also hand decorated too. Can be stored folded shut, or is also sturdy enough to display opened out if you prefer. A really delightful piece and a joy for me to create and express!
