I am delighted to be offering for sale this lovely fabric art album! It is filled with pockets and tags of handmade textile art goodies all with a beachy theme. This piece is so lavishly layered and embellished ! Includes eight embellished pages ( not including the outside covers which are also decorated of course!) of layered fabric collage which include lace,papers,real seashell,beads,glass, and stitchery, including my own hand dyed fabric and beads . The front cover is embellished with a fish design and fabric additions,just beautiful! Tons of details in this special tactile piece of art. I have taken lots of pics but not nearly enough to do it justice! A few more sketchbook snippets and then some more new work to share with you this week!

I haven't shared any images from my sketchbook for a while so I figured it was about time! I am working on some preliminaries for new paintings, lots of smudging and shading with my lovely rich new oil based drawing pencil-bliss!

One of my newest creations, this is 'The Poetess'. A mixed media painting on 4" x 6" deep block gallery wrapped canvas. Softly pensive, this piece has a lovely calm feeling and is finished with a double layer of artist's acrylic varnish. 'Reflections' is one in a limited edition series of mixed media and fabric art books I am currently working on This piece is designed as a miniature journal/sketchbook .It explores a joyful series of drawings and inspirational quotes. Includes paints,high density pigments,inks oils. The book measures (approx) 4" square and is made from fabric which has been primed and painted. I have created my drawings using permanent ink and colour pigments. The idea is that this will be an inspirational series of small artworks captured within a tactile book which can be displayed at home in your favourite viewing spot or perhaps carried with you for quiet moments to enjoy. I have completed moving in and have been busy this week making the most of the time in my new studio whilst awaiting re-connection to the internet-and now I don't know where to start! We will kick things off today with this one,TONS more goodies and art treats to follow - enjoy! I am currently borrowing a little internet time to update all my online sites and stores-we moved house, so not up and running fully yet, but normal service will,however, resume shortly! In the meantime we are all enjoying settling into our new home...although the cast are becoming a little stir crazy after a week of indoors-only activity and have taken to gazing wistfully from every window and scowling a lot :) I promise, now you are fully confident indoors and have all been treated to spanking new collars and tags, that you will be allowed out to play this weekend, my fluffy friends!!
