'Join Me' is one of my most favourite mixed media creations to date! I am so delighted to be offering this piece for sale- Part of a series of 'Dreamscape' mixed media fabric books, this is the second, and I look forward to sharing them all with you here ! The book measures (approx) 4" x 6" and is made from fabric which has been primed and painted. I have then included artworks which have been added using permanent ink,paints and colour pigments. The words inside reads 'come and join me,ride the breeze,over the mountains-we sparkle and scatter on the wind-' and are accompanied by a flow of dream images,finishing with a beautiful hand-pressed pansy flower, which has been carefully sealed to preserve. The book folds concertina style and ties neatly closed with a ribbon and the outer cover is also hand decorated with designs too. Can be stored folded shut, or is also sturdy enough to display opened out if you prefer.
