Melt and Pour Soap Workshop
Make a range of melt and pour soaps using pre-made bases, colours and fragrances. Add natural ingredients to achieve an exfoliating effect, embed objects and soap shapes create fun, fabulous bars or loaves of soap, or even add moisturising oils for a truly luxurious bar.
£15 per person - take home at least one bar of each soap type!

Festival Flower Fascinators and Headdresses
Come and get festival ready, making and creating fabulous festival fascinators with silk flowers, colourful feathers, gems, beads and glitter!
This workshop is open to all abilities and ages and all materials will be supplied.
Each session is £15 per adult, £10 for under 10s
A single session will make you 3 fascinators or a single headdress.

Clay and Potters Wheel Experience
Experiment with a variety of hand building clay techniques, tools, stamping and glazing. Learn how to use a potter's wheel and experience working with clay.
All materials will be provided, including aprons.
Your creations can be left for firing to collect at a later date and keep forever!
Please wear old, comfy clothes.
Cost £35 per person, including all supplies and firing.

Felt a pair of Merino Wool Mitts
We will be using the finest merino wool (which is a delight to work with), silk and other fibres to create your masterpiece. You will be shown wet felting techniques around a “resist” to create a 3D shape. Suitable for beginners or for those who would like to expand their technical know-how. All tools and materials included.

We will be creating monoprints using hand cut stencils and water-based block printing inks. All materials supplied. You will learn how to produce single and layered images and create your own prints for framing or as greetings cards to take home with you.

Learn how to create blurred backgrounds in your portrait and close-up shots to make your subject stand out and how to take detailed landscape shots by shooting in aperture priority. Discover how shutter speed can affect your images and how to avoid camera shake. Gain tips on composition and adding interest to your photographs.
This workshop is aimed at beginners and anyone who wants to get their camera off auto setting!

Not drawn or sketched in a while? Need techniques to help you 'loosen up' or get past a 'block'?
Want to create but feel intimidated by a blank sheet of paper?
Then this is the workshop for you!
An intensive, freeing exploration, working from a series of still life set-ups.
Sharing lots of techniques and tips through a series of demos and tasks including how to: preserve charcoal drawings, correct mistakes, identify values and shapes, prime your paper.,use tonal background, and compose a study whilst taking a loose, relaxed approach towards rendering your drawing.
All materials supplied. You will go home with lots of drawings, printed technique notes, new knowledge and loads of inspiration. *tea and coffee available

Mixed Media Workshop - 'Mermaid Fantasy'
Create a full piece of work whilst learning a wide variety of media, including oil pastels, acrylic, ink, collage, water based crayons and more. Using a mermaid/ocean theme, you will be given full guidance on creating an expressive, whimsical face and figure over a mixed media background (which can be as simple or complex as you like; full support is given for all abilities). We will use layering, collage, gel mediums and paper ephemera to create a series of mixed media samples before producing a full piece of work incorporating the techniques learned.
You will be given guidance and demos on composition, and colour mixing, for different media.
Suitable for all abilities, individual support will be given.
You will go home with a finished piece plus notes and samples.
All materials will be provided.

*some extra art supplies will be available to purchase to take home should you so wish

Painting With Wool – create Wall hangings and Play Mats
Suitable for adults with children!
Fun, messy but clean workshop, suitable for all ages. Beginners very welcome!
Using wool and other fibres as your “paint”, along with soap, water and elbow grease, create wall hangings, either landscape or abstract. Or make a play mat based on the bird’s eye view of a landscape. Your finished piece will be approx 30cm square. You will have the opportunity to play with a range of techniques and fibres.
£20 per person
