Set of six (6) altered/textile art style collaged and stitched handmade fabric tags. These have stamped and embroidered words :- 'CREATE,GIGGLE,CONFIDE,LOVE,SASSY,REMINISCE'. ( Stamping is permanent ink so will not fade or smudge into the fabric) all stitched onto fabrics and embellished with lovely fibers. simply beautiful....inspirational moment which had to be shared! I am sure my excitement far exceeds average considering this is just one single bloom,but this morning this was just a bud and I never grew irises before! Have nurtured this from a bulb,fed, watered and surrounded by salt and used coffee grinds to deter slugs ( not completely successful for some of them but I don't want to use pellets as we have both hedgehogs and badgers regularly in the garden at night!) Ah well, you may not all understand my over-excitement but all CAN enjoy the elegance of this stunning bloom! There may well be some irises appearing in my paintings before long.... :)

Inspirational altered art style canvas painting. This is entitled 'DARE' and measures 7" x 5" x 1.5" on block gallery wrapped canvas ( staple free, deep sides). Rich,warm and refreshing work,which includes collage,ink,graphite,paints and glazes.Texture is added using wax and lace along with vintage jewellery parts,handmade ceramic embellishment and a lovely paper rose on the top of the canvas. Sides are also painted and decorated as a part of the work and the piece is hung from a chain attached with re-purposed rusty nails, embellished with fibers and fabric, so this piece is designed to be hung without the need for any expensive framing involved! This design is an original pen and ink drawing with artist fine-line pen and professional artists' pencils and plenty of TLC! This piece has also been sprayed with a light fixative for protection and longevity. What are ACEOs???? ACEO is the acronym for "Art Cards Editions and Originals".
