This is entitled 'DARE' and measures 7" x 5" x 1.5" on block gallery wrapped canvas ( staple free, deep sides).
Rich,warm and refreshing work,which includes collage,ink,graphite,paints and glazes.Texture is added using wax and lace along with vintage jewellery parts,handmade ceramic embellishment and a lovely paper rose on the top of the canvas.
Sides are also painted and decorated as a part of the work and the piece is hung from a chain attached with re-purposed rusty nails, embellished with fibers and fabric, so this piece is designed to be hung without the need for any expensive framing involved!
