I have been making the most of the wonderful sunny weather in Cornwall this week and got lots and lots of fabulous newly dyed fabrics to play with. This book measures (approx) 4" x 6" and is made from fabric which has been primed and painted. I have then included artworks which have been added using permanent ink,paints and colour pigments. The words inside reads 'come and join me,ride the breeze,over the mountains-we sparkle and scatter on the wind-' and are accompanied by a flow of dream images,finishing with a beautiful hand-pressed pansy flower, which has been carefully sealed to preserve. The book folds concertina style and ties neatly closed with a ribbon and the outer cover is also hand decorated with designs too.

Hello there, lovely readers :) I have been busy all week working on a wedding order which I have just managed to complete....I must also confess to spending every other spare moment soaking up the most welcome Spring sunshine! Long-awaited and most definitely appreciated! Now I am feeling re-charged and ready for a busy 2011 season! There isn't much colour in the garden just yet,although everything is at long last showing clear signs new life, but I managed to pull a few blooms together and bring a little Spring freshness indoors-enjoy! :)
