I have been working hard behind the scenes to put this wonderful exhibition together ... opening night is July 5th 2019. I am so proud to be working with ten other amazing artists, this will be an incredible show of local artwork!

Like me this beauty is a night owl! Mixed media on deep block canvas -this piece is sold, but there is a bird theme coming through this year which is making me very excited-watch this space!

I have a ton of lovely ideas for new supplies and inspiring additions for your hand crafted projects and creations for this New Year! Starting with these gorgeous funky charms, which I am offering in sets of 4. Each design has been hand drawn,using permanent pigments . I then cut them,make a hole to ease of attachment to all kinds of projects and shrink them down. Each is between 1cm and 2cm in size once complete and about 2mm thick . Very tough and durable for jewellery designing and also fantastic for journalling and collage style projects. ...poor little blog I haven't forgotten you ! I have been in the process of searching for a new place to live as we need to downsize since #1 daughter left,so updates may be a little sporadic for a while. I'll do my very very best! In the meantime,I will at least try to share a photo or two for your enjoyment! This one isn't remotely artistic and was taken off a phone,after a rainstorm,right after the perfect hairdo was achieved, but I'll share it anyways, as,for me at least-it's a massive deal having worn very long,big hair for many years ....brrr! I will need some new scarves to keep my neck warm this year,but apart from that,I'm still re-adjusting, but I definitely like it!!

This is HONESTY my newest Art Doll in this current series. She has to be my favourite so far ( although I try not to pick so don't tell the others!) HONESTY is luxuriously padded and has a hand painted face with soft glowing brown eyes.Using a mix of lace,fibers and many fabrics that I have dyed and painted myself she measures about 13" tall and has a cute little pocket attached containing a hand made tag stamped 'truth'. This is a new mixed media painting I finished today. 'Forget About Tomorrow' includes collaged vintage script,inks,graphite and paint. Yeh off topic I know,not at all art related today, but there is nothing like a pampering at the hairdressers to make you feel good,so I'm gonna show off and share, the hell with it-it's been SO long I don't even remember the last time I got a shearing,so feeling revived today! :)
